Founder and Managing Director of Sukume Consulting, Vuyelwa Nyakaza works in the Economic Development space across Africa. With significant experience in Place/Nation Branding, SME Development and Intra-African Trade, she advises high-ranking leaders and organizations in the private, public and non-profit sectors. Vuyelwa is passionate about developing African brands, businesses and economies for global competitiveness and socio-economic transformation.

As a thought leader and advocate of the Buy African concept, Vuyelwa is in the process of creating platforms to promote Made-by-African brands through building awareness, facilitating and providing market access for them.

As the Global Brand Strategist for the MTN Group, she worked across 22 countries in Africa and the Middle East. Vuyelwa built robust classical marketing experience managing Unilever brands in local (South Africa), regional (Africa & Middle East, Turkey) as well as international (Brazil) roles.

Molapokatse Fanana consults in brand strategy and creativity in areas pertaining to the economy, nation and SME development. He is passionate about “Proudly African” concepts for which he advocates. With a successful background as a dynamic businessman and intrepid entrepreneur, Fanana brings with him vast business and branding experience spanning over 15 years. With an uncanny knack for new ideas and a pioneering spirit, Fanana is a founding member of two successful companies: Moving Ads South Africa and Channel Communications Lesotho.

Before the advent of Moving Ads and ChannelCom, Fanana was a marketing professional in SA where he plied his trade for reputable international advertising agency networks like Ogilvy and BBDO. His portfolio includes award-winning work for blue chip brands like Levis, Virgin Atlantic, KFC and DSTv. His work as a communication specialist, brand strategist and a seasoned copy writer garnered recognition that earned him a British D&AD for writing, Cannes Award and New York One Show.

Fanana is currently executing capital projects in areas of Management Consulting including Training Consulting, Capacity Building & Project Management.

Amanuel Mengistu is an experienced strategic communications consultant with a focus on content marketing, international trade and investment marketing. With experience as a Managing Director of C62 Media Group, a custom content and marketing agency, Aman has overseen projects for a wide variety of clients in Ethiopia, Kenya, South Africa, Dubai, US, and UK.

As an art director, he has overseen the design and production of magazines, websites, corporate brand identities and packaging designs. Professional Background

Olumide David is a regenerative agriculturist, a third-generation farmer whose 30 years' experience spans agronomy, animal husbandry, food processing and storage, agricultural mechanization, and agricultural economics. His passion to eradicate hunger through food production inspired him to launch an agribusiness in 2007 that has evolved into Farm Naturale—an integrated organic farm—which he directs as Managing Director. Farm Naturale occupies about 100 acres of land in Arawa, near Epe, a border town between Ogun and Lagos states. Its operations cover the entire agricultural value chain, from farm to table, and it offers farm management services, training, and farm equipment manufacturing.

Known as a Corporate Farmer because of his expertise in running profitable agricultural ventures, Olumide is a seasoned Consultant who has set up multiple commercial-size farms for other farmers. This journey into agricultural entrepreneurship began on his father’s farm, where he was actively engaged and managed aspects of the business. Further, in junior secondary, he successfully raised birds during agriculture practical class. This led him to start a poultry farm that grew to include cattle. He followed through by attending the University of Agriculture in Makurdi, in 2003. While there, he served for 5 years as National President of Global Leadership Initiative founded by Dr Noel Woodroffe, a role that informed his participation in youth advancement in future.
